Bench Technician Intern

We are currently looking for Bench Technician Intern. Whether you are in school or just looking to see what it would be like to work for a small business run by an entrepreneur, this is the position for you!


What you’ll be learning:

  •  Re-Imaging Workstations: You'll learn to ensure systems are up-to-date, secure, and optimized for performance by mastering the process of re-imaging workstations.
  •  Software Audits: Gain expertise in conducting software audits, identifying and documenting installed applications to ensure compliance with company policies and licensing agreements.
  • Following SOPs: Develop the ability to accurately follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various IT tasks, ensuring consistency and reliability in all operations.
  • PXE Booting Computers/Laptops: You'll learn how to use Preboot Execution Environment (PXE) to boot computers and laptops, enabling efficient deployment and updates of operating systems.
  • Printer Setup on Servers: Understand how to configure and set up printers on servers, ensuring seamless printing operations across the network.
  • Application Installation Based on Client Needs: Acquire the skills to install and configure applications according to specific client requirements, ensuring software meets operational needs.
  • Laptop Setup: Master the process of setting up laptops, from PXE booting to installing updates, configuring user accounts, and joining domains.
  • Vendor Relations: Develop the ability to work effectively with vendors, managing communications, orders, and service requests.
  • Admin Portals: Learn to navigate and utilize various admin portals for managing systems, software, and user accounts.
  • Microsoft Programs (M365 Admin Portal/Azure): Gain familiarity with Microsoft 365 Admin Portal and Azure, including managing user accounts, configuring services, and monitoring system performance.
  • Ticketing System Familiarization: Learn how to use the company’s ticketing system to manage and track IT support requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.

Compensation/Company Perks:

This internship is paid at $17/ per hour. We do provide school credit, and many perks are available to interns/employees.
